Did you know Art Cards originated in the 16th century?
The first Art Cards were miniature portraits of loved ones carried on long journeys away from home, something akin to our wallet photos of today.
Impressionist artists later traded art cards to study each others methods.
They have a wonderful history!
Today the resurgence of this fabulous art form makes it easy for everyone to collect original art without the cost or worry of space constraints!
All cards measure 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and come in a heavy protective sleeve which I suggest you leave them in as they will protect the card forever and you can still view the card front & back.
