The Witch's Black Veil Tea & Luncheon Society is a band of prim slightly irregular & somewhat eccentric Witchy Women~ artists, poets, musicians, dreamers, adventurers, tattooed ladies, etc...
The Society (affectionatly called BVS)was formed by the Tinker(aka: the Wicked Witch of the East)c2004 as an outlet for highly intelligent, creative individualistic women to meet (whether in person or via astral projection)to chat, drink, dine, share recipes & wear black veils & tall pointed hats.
Although the Society is very secret & exclusive here for the first time is a peek at the secret circle membership roster...
Society's Choice Tea of the Month: Pumpkin Spice Tea (available through www.culinaryteas.com)
Society Recipe for December
Ultimate Pumpkin Pie
3/4 c granulated suger
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 (15 oz) can pure pumpkin 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
1 unbaked 9" deep dish pie shell
Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and suger-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
Pour into pie shell. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.

Abuela~ Society Treasurer, In charge of all Society finances, holds this position due to a remarkable ability to resist any and all Ebay purchasing, always has an 'angle', the streetwise Society member...
Madame Aria~ The Wicked Witch of the Torch Song~ sleeps by day, rocks by night. The musically inclined Society member. The one who, along with Tink, can take a single topic or idea and pound it out to the most absurd point imaginable while deftly keeping her toes out of Mick (the Wonder Dog's) reach. Always seeking a better Indian Take-out & Keeper of the Sacred Cow Balls...
